Featuring LIVE attempts at Guinness World Records titles, Officially Amazing tours Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide and Perth throughout September and October 2017.

Officially Amazing is the incredible Guinness World Records TV series produced by Lion TV and airing on ABC ME that brings weird and wonderful world records attempts from around the world. From the Biggest to the Smallest, the Fastest to the Tallest, not to mention Longest… and err Hairiest!

Never one to shy away from taking part in some ridiculous and sometimes hair-raising challenges, chief Officially Amazing presenter Ben Shires hosts this national tour. Also starring Mr Cherry and his assistant Chikki, Sizzlin’ Steve and US Ray, plus special guests Marawa the Amazing and freestyle footballer John Farnworth. Keeping a close eye on the contestants is Official Guinness World Records adjudicators Shantha Chinniah and Mark McKinley.

  • Japan’s No.1 record breaker, Mr Cherry: most jelly eaten with chopsticks in one minute (663 grams); most socks put on one foot in 30 seconds (26 in total)
  • Stephen Kish, also known as Sizzlin’ Steve, is certainly one of the hottest names in record-breaking: fastest time to sort 500grams of Peanut M&M’s (2mins12secs); most toots of a party blower in 30 seconds (97)
  • US Ray – aka Raymond Butler – an American record breaker who has achieved some incredible Guinness World Records titles: longest backflip into a pair of trousers; fastest time to burst 20 balloons (3.94secs); most star jumps on one minute (77)
  • Australian Marawa Ibrahim, the world-renowned brunette who is a virtuoso of the Hula Hoop, can tackle 180 rings all at once!
  • John Farnworth is known worldwide as an innovative and influential football freestyler. He holds numerous Guinness World Records including: most football/soccer touches with the heel in 1 minute (154).
